Institut Madre Mazzarello was born in 1924 to celebrate the first fifty years of the Congregation, it was the first house in the institute dedicated to Maria Domenica Mazzarello, Superior and Co-founder. Turin at he start of twenties was a city in population growth. The village San Paolo was a popular neighborhood, inhabited by young families and rich children. The House Madre Mazzarello wanted to be a meeting place and growth for many girls, especially through the oratory and festive evening. The Institute is best known as "Casa Missionaria". From here, in fact, started between 1928 and 1968, 1120 Missionary Sisters for each continent.
